Shamrocks Hammered by Castillo, Drop Game 2 to Red Bulls
Riverside catcher Lorenzo Castillo produced all the offense the Red Bulls would need today in the club's 9-0 win over the Pacifica Shamrocks.

Castillo belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 and was named player of the game, while Riverside moved into a tie in the Double A League Championship. The Red Bulls and Shamrocks are now even at 1-1 in the best-of-7 series.

Castillo's nice game included a clutch 2-run double in the bottom of the first.

"It feels a lot better to be tied than to be behind, even if it is only one game" Riverside manager Joe Ward said.

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3rd, 2028 at McCormick Field. Slated to start are Jay Till for the Red Bulls and John Payne for the Shamrocks.
