Almost There: Billings On Cusp of Triple A League Championship Triumph After 11-7 Win
With second baseman Satoshi Kuhabara leading the charge, the Billings Mustangs defeated the visiting Pasadena Bumblebees, 11-7, in Game 4 of the Triple A League Championship today. Kuhabara went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once at Cobb Field to help Billings take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Kuhabara went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once against the Bumblebees. With the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that scored 1 and put Billings in front, 8-7.

"We haven't stopped playing," Pasadena manager Hervé Barthélémy said. "We didn't get this far to give up."

The next game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 4th, 2028 at Cobb Field. Slated to start are Chan De for the Bumblebees and Robert Howard for the Mustangs.
