The New Orleans Jedi Knights put together a convincing win at Coney Island Coliseum, defeating the Coney Island Cyclones, 12-1. Myoung-chul An was one of the hitting stars. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for New Orleans. Romain Quere got the win, improving to 5-6. He held the Cyclones to 1 runs on 4 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 3. Kakuzo Hoshino earned the save for New Orleans, his 2nd of the year.
Early in the game, An had a 2-run home run for New Orleans. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Jedi Knights on top, 2-0.
Coney Island manager Tony Chávez called the blowout loss "a real dud."
New Orleans bumps their record to 82-75 with the win.
