Getting a good performance from third baseman Sébastien Quentin, the Nichols Gnats defeated the San Angelo Mustangs, 8-0. Quentin went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Gnats. Nichols reliever Earl Lee picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Clay Melsom shouldered the loss. At 50-106, the Gnats find themselves in last place in the Buck O'Neil League San Diego Chicken Division.
