Victoria Vikings starter Jeff Duff kept the Boise Bloodhounds hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. At 74-78, Victoria is in 5th place in the Buck O'Neil League San Diego Chicken Division.

Flexing his muscles for Victoria was Lee Cong. The left fielder had a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second for the Vikings. It put his team ahead, 3-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Cong went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

Cong called the triumph "a good team win."
