Mahieu Brings A-Game, Saints Beat Mustangs
|
Pitcher Will Mahieu was sensational for the St. Paul Saints in his team's 2-1 triumph over the San Angelo Mustangs. Mahieu received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Taheiji Ohayashi picked up the save, his 30th. The second-place Mustangs have dropped 4 straight games.
Mahieu scattered 2 hits over 7 innings for the Saints. With the win, Mahieu goes to 1-1 on the year with 23 strikeouts.
