Jun Sasaki could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Baltimore Blue Claws lost, dropping a 3-1 decision to the Winfield Warriors at Old Bay Park. The third-place Warriors have won 4 consecutive games.

A defensive miscue in the top of the fifth cost the Blue Claws. With Winfield leading 1-0, Jun'ichi Tamura reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 1 run. Winfield ended up winning the ballgame.
