Victoria designated hitter Chris Griffin pounded New Orleans Jedi Knights pitchers at The Republic, but it was not enough to keep the Vikings from falling, 8-7. Griffin was 2-5 with 2 home runs. Yoshikazu Ichihara, credited with the save, is now 21 for 31 in save opportunities. The Jedi Knights have now won 4 straight.

New Orleans grabbed control in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Myoung-chul An delivered a run-scoring double, to make it 8-7 in favor of the Jedi Knights.
