St. Paul beat Boise at Grand Canyon Valley Park, eking out a 8-7 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Will Mahieu, who earned player of the game honors. St. Paul reliever Kuemon Takahashi Jr. was the winner. His record is now 5-0. The losing pitcher was Robinson Merrado. The losses continue to mount for Boise, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
