Grand Canyon Valley Park was the site of a competitive game between the Boise Bloodhounds and St. Paul Saints.

Behind a solid performance from first baseman Brad Wolf, the St. Paul Saints defeated the Boise Bloodhounds, 5-3. Wolf went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles for the Saints. The winner was St. Paul reliever Martín Cantú, now 1-0. The loser was Tony Ruíz.

Tetsunori Ito made it 4-3 in favor of St. Paul when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the eighth. The Saints went on to win.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Wolf. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

Boise's current losing streak is now 4 games.
