|
Starting pitcher Jeff Duff pitched well enough to help the Victoria Vikings beat the Barrow Frosties by the score of 6-4. Victoria reliever Ian Kline picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Cecilio Friuli was saddled with the loss. Victoria is now 72-75.
Mo-ruo Nan was 2-2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs for Victoria. The speedster had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Cecilio Friuli. It was his 37th walk of the season.
