Victory Over Cyclones Takes Chippewa to 90-55
|
The Chippewa River Chiefs did just enough to sneak past the Coney Island Cyclones, 7-6, at The Reservation. Chippewa pitcher Willi Kehr earned player of the game honors. Kehr went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 0, and struck out 8. His record improves to 11-7. Chippewa has 3 straight wins, Coney Island 3 straight losses.
