The Baltimore Blue Claws went down to defeat to Clay Melsom and his San Angelo teammates. The final score was 4-1 in favor of the Mustangs. José Santos was credited with the save for San Angelo, his 4th of the season. The Mustangs move to 82-63 with the win, while the Blue Claws drop to 91-54.

Rodrigo Domínguez was one of the major contributors to the win for San Angelo. The light-hitting catcher stroked a double to center in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the day, he scored once.
