Warriors Keep Streak Alive With 7-3 Win
|
The Winfield Warriors downed the Boise Bloodhounds, 7-3, at The Barn. Jun'ichi Tamura led the way, going 2-for-3 for Winfield. The winning continues for Winfield, with the latest making it 9 straight.
In the bottom of the second, Tanzan Watanabe took a fastball from Ruben Silva and pounded a 2-run home run to left. It put Winfield on top, 2-0. For the game, Watanabe was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"We'll keep riding this wave as long as we can," said Winfield Warriors manager Alan Hall.
