Another day, another victory for the red-hot Winfield Warriors.

The Winfield Warriors did just enough to sneak past the Boise Bloodhounds, 5-4, at The Barn. Winfield pitcher Kevin Davis earned player of the game honors. Sergio Rodríguez closed the game out for Winfield, earning his 4th save.

One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third inning. Facing Boise hurler Brian Siegfried, Katsuhiko Shimizu, who is tied for 3rd in the BOL in triples with 5, grounded out, driving in 1 run. The Warriors went on to win.

"We're just feeding off each other right now," said Shimizu.

This win makes it 8 in a row for Winfield.
