The Kingwood Knights and Chippewa River Chiefs obliged those fans who came to Stable Park looking for a good time.

The Knights grabbed a win, 5-4, at Stable Park, overcoming a fine effort from Chippewa pitcher Manchu Woo. Woo went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Carlos Maldonado notched his 2nd save in 2 chances.

The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Kingwood pinch hitter Narcissus Zindilis. In the bottom of the eighth inning, with one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Zindilis hit a run-scoring single to help Kingwood seize the win.

"I was a little disappointed," said Chippewa manager Bruce Leah. "We could've and should've scored more runs."

Kingwood is now 58-83.
