The St. Paul Saints reigned over the Barrow Frosties in damp conditions at Saints Ballpark.

The St. Paul Saints had to overcome a big game from Barrow third baseman Nick Gómez to leave Saints Ballpark with a 5-3 victory. Gómez was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. François Imbert earned the save for St. Paul, his 1st.

In the bottom of the 5th, the Saints grabbed the lead on a two-out home run by Juichi Takahashi. St. Paul at the time was trailing 3-2, but Takahashi's 2-run home run off Jeremy Shaw put his team in front.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Takahashi told the St. Paul News.
