Berserkers Win in Glorious Fashion
|
Minnesota pitcher Manuel Crespo did his part in helping his team beat the New York Mafia, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The win was credited to Ti-an Dan in relief. His record improves to 3-4. Clemente Curry took the loss. The Berserkers improved to 32-46.
Late-game drama came in the bottom of the ninth inning. With two out and a runner on 3rd, the batter, André Georges, drew a walk. It helped Minnesota seize the win.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Georges said.
