The Long Island Ducks electrified Long Island Stadium with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Long Island Ducks did just enough to sneak past the Topeka Predators, 6-5, at Long Island Stadium. Long Island pitcher Chris Bacon earned player of the game honors. The Ducks sit in 5th place in the Ford Frick League Billy the Marlin Division with a record of 80-81.

Akihiro Matsumoto was the walk-off hero for Long Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Long Island first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Matsumoto said.
