Madison got a first-rate effort from pitcher Tsuginori Inoue, who frustrated Sandy Springs hitters en route to a 2-1 Beehive triumph at The Hive. With the win over Sandy Springs, the Beehive improved to 73-86.
Sotatsu Kajitani broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the sixth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Beehive in front, 2-1. For the game, Kajitani went 1-2 with a double.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Madison manager Brian Moore.
