Carson City center fielder Tae-kyun Kim had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Boise Hawks, 7-3. Virisimo Antona picked up the win, improving his season record to 8-6. He struck out 8 in 6 innings. Yuki Kokawa got credit for the save for Carson City. It was his 6th of the year.

With Carson City leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Kim hit a fastball from Peter McColgan for a 2-run single. It was his 72nd hit of the season and put the Mustang ahead, 3-0.
