The Boise Hawks grabbed a 12-8 win over the Spokane Bulldogs at The Kennel. Boise left fielder Hyung-ki Kim went 2-4 with 2 home runs, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 to earn player of the game honors. With the win over Spokane, the Hawks improved to 58-92.

The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Boise catcher Kadambi Patterjee. In the top of the eighth inning, with no one out and a runner on 1st, Patterjee hit a run-scoring double to help Boise seize the win.

"I'm a bit of a clubhouse prankster," said Patterjee. "But it's all business when we're on the field."
