The Spokane Bulldogs got a superb performance from shortstop Blair Donahue, but the Sandy Springs Spartans still won the game, 9-8. Donahue was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 4-4 with a triple, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Roger Rogers, the winner, improved to 8-8. He held Spokane to 2 runs on 5 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. Oliver García earned his 1st save in 2 chances.
Mike Carlson helped out the Sandy Springs cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the center fielder went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4.
