The Carson City Mustang used an offensive barrage to beat the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 10-2, at Earl Campbell Stadium. Emílio Gómez led the way, going 3-for-5 for Carson City. Virisimo Antona got the win, improving to 6-6. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 6 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The Cornhuskers, at 52-90, have lost 4 straight games.
