Late Rally Gets Win for Beehive
In a close game at The Hive, the Madison Beehive edged the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 4-3. Madison designated hitter Cory McIver earned the nod as player of the game. He was 4-5 with 4 singles. The win was Tom Wilson's in relief. His record improves to 5-6. John Patterson took the loss for DeKalb. Madison has now won 3 in a row.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, McIver hit a cutter from John Patterson for a run-scoring single. The Beehive, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
