The Rock River Rats bested the Cincinnati Snaps, 7-1, at The Studio. Harley Ware was named player of the game. He went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Adharma Sughavanam, the winner, improved to 9-5. He held the Snaps to 1 runs on 2 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 3. The first-place Rats now have a 17-game winning streak.
Chris Schmidt was one of the major contributors to the win for Rock River. The light-hitting second baseman stroked a double to center in the top of the second inning. For the day, he went 3 for 5 with a triple and a double, while adding 2 RBI.
