The Pasadena Bumblebees stopped the Reno Raiders, 10-9, behind an impressive performance from Edmund McDonald. The 24-year old first baseman made life miserable for Reno pitching. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Reliever Stepan Elmesov picked up the win. His record improves to 5-1. Daladhisvara Harishandra took the loss. Vicente Valenzuela notched his 19th save in 20 chances.

McDonald had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Daladhisvara Harishandra, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Bumblebees a 10-9 lead. It was the 41st home run of the year for McDonald.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," McDonald told the Pasadena Bulletin.
