The Billings Mustangs faced a tough opponent in Vancouver pitcher Juan Galindo, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Stanley Park by a final score of 5-4. Galindo went 7.2 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. Billings reliever Diego Castro was the winner. His record is now 6-2. The losing pitcher was Ernesto Villegas. The Mustangs improve their record to 92-67 with the win over Vancouver.

Way-ming Wang made it 5-4 in favor of Billings when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with one out in the top of the tenth. The Mustangs went on to win.

"The division is still up for grabs, but I like our chances," Wang told the Billings Citizen.
