Canadians Reel Off Another Win
|
The Vancouver Canadians stymied the Billings Mustangs, 5-2, at Stanley Park. Carlos Vásquez, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Vancouver. Vancouver reliever Ryunosuke Takahashi got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Takeshi Gato was tagged with the loss. This win makes it 6 in a row for Vancouver.
