Freeze Stick Coal Miners with 4-3 Loss
|
Antioch shortstop Alonso Rosas had a good game, even if his team did not. The Coal Miners dropped a 4-3 decision to Minneapolis at The Coal Mine. Rosas went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Minneapolis now sits in 4th place in the Blake Camden League Youppi Division at 77-82.
Ray Stark was a key contributor to the win for the Freeze. In the top of the fourth with two out, the light-hitting center fielder stroked a single to left. He was 2-5 with a double.
"I was a little disappointed," said Antioch manager Julián Flores. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
