Bumblebees Flatten Caterpillars, 11-2

Rain could not dampen the pregame excitement of Peoria fans at The Cave at Barton Springs. But the subsequent loss, and a disappointing one at that, to the Bumblebees had to.
The Pasadena Bumblebees had no problem beating the Peoria Caterpillars, 11-2, at The Cave at Barton Springs. Lachlan Miners led the way. He went 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for Pasadena. Tae-geun Cho earned the win for Pasadena. He lasted 6.2 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 6 hits, while striking out 2. With the win, he raised his record to 16-6.
Pasadena catcher Jim Unknown changed the complexion of the game in the top of the sixth. That's when he belted a grand slam home run off Jayakar Ramadin. His 1st home run of the season put Pasadena in front, 5-2.
"The Bumblebees definitely had our number," said Peoria manager Larry Pittman.
The Bumblebees have now won 4 straight.
