Bronx played host to Billings at the friendly confines of Bronx Ballpark.

The Bronx Bombers relied on the hitting of center fielder Ángel García to stop the Billings Mustangs, 12-7. For the game, García went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Al Bates got the win, improving to 8-15. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 1.

García had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the second for the Bombers. Coming up with a runner on 1st and Bronx trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run home run.

"Ángel is still learning," said Bronx Bombers manager Ronnie Hampton. "The sky's the limit for him."

The last-place Bombers now have a win-loss record of 58-93.
