Nomura Lifts Freeze to 12-5 Triumph
The Minneapolis Freeze defeated the Omaha Raptors, 12-5. Earning player of the game honors was left fielder Yodo Nomura, who went 4-4 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Eisuke Ota, the winner, improved to 2-0. He held the Raptors to 5 runs on 5 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The Freeze raised their record to 76-77.

Baladhya Harishandra had a nice at-bat for the Freeze with no one out in the top of the second. With a runner on 1st, the designated hitter hit a run-scoring single, which would prove important in the Minneapolis win.
