|
The New Orleans Jedi Knights wasted an impressive 6.1-inning effort from starter Dao-zi Chou, falling 1-0 to the Baltimore Blue Claws at Old Bay Park. Dae-je Kwak closed the game out for Baltimore, earning his 17th save. The New Orleans losing skid has reached 6 games.
Had Shunsho Meshizuka not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Meshizuka hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Blue Claws.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said New Orleans manager Mathew Thomas. "The effort was great."
