Barrow and Baltimore got after it at The Blizzard Bowl.
The Barrow Frosties bested the Baltimore Blue Claws, 9-5, at The Blizzard Bowl. Lúcio Sánchez was named player of the game. He was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Tokuhei Yano earned his 24th save in 29 chances.
Sánchez had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the sixth for the Frosties. Coming up with a runner on 1st and Barrow trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run home run.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Sánchez.
Barrow is now 77-58, Baltimore 83-52.
