Tornadoes Jolt Jesters with Late Rally
The Kansas City Tornadoes did just enough to secure a 7-6 victory over the Jersey Jesters at Debris Field. Nobody did more than center fielder Oliver North, who captured player of the game honors. Kansas City reliever Michael Burton picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-3. Tom Owens was collared with the loss. The 6th-place Tornadoes have won 4 straight games.

Arthur Madgouran provided some late-game drama. In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and a runner on 2nd, Madgouran hit a run-scoring single. It helped Kansas City take the lead and grab the win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Madgouran said.
