Landry Shines in Mustangs Win
|
San Angelo first baseman Kent Landry played a vital role in his team's 5-2 triumph over New Orleans. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for San Angelo. Jim Unknown notched his 1st save in 1 chances. The Mustangs now have a record of 76-58.
Landry contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the eighth. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped San Angelo get the win.
