Winfield designated hitter Bryce Buckley was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Eugene beat the Warriors, 8-7. Buckley was named the player of the game despite the loss. Eugene is now 79-53.
