San Angelo Mustangs starter Nobuharu Kishita was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Coney Island Cyclones, 4-1. Kishita, the winner, moves to 3-4. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk. The Mustangs, at 72-56, sit in second place in the Buck O'Neil League San Diego Chicken Division.
Flexing his muscles for San Angelo was Sumiteru Nakagawa. The center fielder had a 2-run home run in the top of the third for the Mustangs. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Nakagawa was 1 for 2 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
