Blue Claws Use Late-Game Magic to Beat River Chiefs
The Chippewa River Chiefs and Baltimore Blue Claws brought some excitement to The Reservation.

The Baltimore Blue Claws got a strong performance from pitcher Jun Sasaki, who stymied the Chippewa offense en route to a 7-1 win at The Reservation. The Blue Claws have an impressive 77-49 record.

Runs were few and far between in this one. So, Cevdet Karpat's at-bat with one out in the top of the eighth was crucial. The Baltimore catcher hit a 2-run single, to give his team a 3-1 lead.

"Getting the win feels pretty nice," said Sasaki. "More importantly, I had a good game."
