Coney Island Coliseum was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

Jesús Espinosa could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Boise Bloodhounds lost, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Coney Island Cyclones at Coney Island Coliseum. The win was Mauk Slot's in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Jesús Espinosa took the loss for Boise.

The Cyclones took the lead in the bottom of the second when Nobuharu Ageda banged a two-out home run. Coney Island had been trailing 1-0, but Ageda hit a first pitch fastball from Jesús Espinosa for a 2-run home run.

Ageda said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.

Coney Island has now won 3 in a row.
