Thomas Kearton pitched a good game, but his team, the Barrow Frosties, still dropped a 4-3 decision to the Kingwood Knights at The Blizzard Bowl. Getting the save was Javier González, his 23rd. After today's action, Kingwood sits at 45-75, while Barrow falls to 67-53.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 3rd and one out in the top of the second inning. That's when left fielder José Álvarez, who is tied for 9th in the BOL in stolen bases with 22, grounded out, driving in 1 run. The Knights went on to win.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Barrow manager Ismael Rodríguez. "But we decided not to take it."
