Suzuki goes 3-for-4, Leads Hawks to Win
|
Boise first baseman Toyotomi Suzuki had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the New York Ninjas, 13-6. Boise reliever Alejandro Román picked up the win to move to 4-3. Lourenço Russa suffered the loss. Boise is last in the Ford Frick League Junction Jack Division with a record of 52-86.
In the bottom of the 2nd, the Hawks grabbed the lead when Horiuchi Rin rapped a two-out single. Boise was trailing 3-2, when Rin hit a 2-run single off Lourenço Russa to put his team in front, 4-3.
"We got the victory," said Rin. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
