The Hive was the site of a competitive game between the Madison Beehive and Spokane Bulldogs.

The Spokane Bulldogs picked up a win at The Hive, knocking off the Madison Beehive, 5-3. On the mound for Spokane was right-hander Ashley Heath, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Beehive, at 61-72, have lost 4 straight games.

Todd Colbert's at-bat in the top of the eighth inning was a big one for Spokane. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Spokane leading 4-3, the first baseman drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Colbert told the Spokane Daily.
