The Boise Hawks got a superb performance from pitcher Po-sin Pang, who shut out the Cincinnati Snaps, 1-0. Duane Lummis got the save, his 5th in 10 chances. Boise is now 50-85.

Pang was in the zone all game. He frustrated Cincinnati hitters while giving the Hawks 8 innings of quality work. Pang threw 96 pitches, allowing 6 hits and getting 7 punchouts.

"Runs were at a premium," said Boise manager Bill Martin.
