Ducks Topple Ninjas with Late Rally
|
Long Island second baseman Martín Arredondo was a significant contributor in his team's 6-3 triumph over the New York Ninjas. He was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Long Island. At 64-65, Long Island is in 5th place in the Ford Frick League Billy the Marlin Division.
Arredondo hit a 2-run single in the bottom of the eighth to help the Long Island cause. The single, which was hit off Oliver Dyke, allowed Long Island to take a 5-3 lead.
Arredondo told a Long Island Gazette reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
