The Spokane Bulldogs and Wichita Wolverines played an exciting game at The Kennel.

Spokane Bulldogs starter Ashley Heath was in fine form against the Wichita Wolverines at The Kennel, leading his team to a 4-2 win. Heath went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 8-5.

Tied up with the Wolverines in the bottom of the fifth, the Bulldogs got a boost from third baseman Shintaro Yamada. With the bases loaded, Yamada saw a 2-2 curveball from Nicholas Norman and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Spokane on top, 3-2.

Yamada called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

Spokane is 4th in the Ford Frick League Billy the Marlin Division with a record of 66-62.
