The Phoenix Lights topped the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 9-3, in Ford Frick League action at The Clone Army. The player of the game was Phoenix pitcher and Oxford, Mississippi native Matt Calderón. Phoenix is now 75-48.
In the top of the third, Qu-bing Ci hit a 2-run double for Phoenix. The 28th double of the season for the Phoenix designated hitter put the Lights on top, 2-0.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Ci.
