In a tight game between the So Cal Republic and the Brooklyn Black Knights, pitcher Adhipa Vemireddy was terrific on the mound. The So Cal left-hander was named the player of the game in So Cal's 2-0 win. So Cal has now won 3 in a row.

It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Vemireddy, who tallied 6 strikeouts in 8 innings and allowed only 4 hits. Vemireddy, who is tied for 8th in the RCL with a 1.18 WHIP, raised his record to 10-3 on the year with 135 strikeouts.
