Behind a solid performance from first baseman Lemn Onkwani, the Sandy Springs Spartans defeated the Madison Beehive, 8-0. Onkwani was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Spartans. Roger Rogers, the winner, improved to 6-6. He held Madison to 0 runs on 1 hit over 6.2 innings, while racking up 11 strikeouts.
Chipping in for Sandy Springs was right fielder Saad Maan. He stroked a 2-run single in the bottom of the first. For the game, Maan went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs.
